Ania has joined the board of directors in the Autumn of 2018.
Since coming to the UK in 2003, Ania worked for a number of third sector organisations, typically providing administrative support or volunteer management. She also worked for a local authority as a community engagement officer for ethnic minority families living with learning disability. She currently works for Scottish Women’s Aid.
Ania has actively supported migrant communities through her voluntary community work during the years 2004-2010. She was the driving force behind CROSS-LINK Central and Eastern European Association, which provided information, translation support and socialising opportunities for individuals and families. In 2017, after nearly 14 years of living in South-West England, Ania has relocated to Scotland.
Ania is a passionate advocate for volunteering and has herself been a volunteer for a variety of organisations since the age of 15. She has a degree in Humanities from University College London.
