On behalf of Polish Psychologists’ Networking Group I would like to extend the invitation to the Networking Meeting for the Polish Professionals in Support Services o 15th November at 10 am in Feniks, St. Margaret’s House 151 London Road.

We apply a broad understanding of support and we would like to meet Polish support workers, careworkers, psychotherapists, caseworkers, mentors, psychologists, befrienders, psychologists, admins, etc. We would like to get to know you and learn about your services, referral system and develop a support network for Polish service users in Edinburgh. This knowledge proved to be extremely valuable in the past

At the meeting we will exchange information about the services and referring system (please bring your leaflets). We will start the conversation about Brexit: changes and problems you already see and how this affects your clients; what do you worry about and what do you know about Settled Status. If there is enough time I will share the results from the report on suicides within the Polish Community delivered in cooperation with the Polish Consulate General in Edinburgh and NHS Lothian.

Mrs Consul Jolanta Srebrakowska will be also present at the meeting, hence we can expect conversations on multiple levels of intervention.

The meeting is part of the 5th Befriend Depression – Look After Your Mental Health, an action of free workshops and therapeutic consultations delivered by the members of the Polish Psychologists’ Networking Group. The programme of the action is here.

Please sign up through the eventbrite link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/spotkanie-polskich-profesjonalistow-w-edynburgu-tickets-50477898754
