We are recruiting!

An excellent opportunity has become available to become involved in the Board of Directors of Feniks as a Trustee, Board Secretary or Treasurer. Feniks is a charity operating in Edinburgh promoting the rights and wellbeing of migrant communities from Central and Eastern European (CEE) Countries. Since 2007 the organisation has provided holistic confidential support services in English and CEE languages, including counselling, psychotherapy, group work, employment advice and outreach support.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the organisation’s strategic development and to assist in its future success supporting vulnerable individuals and families in the City of Edinburgh. At the same time, successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop skills in management and governance in a supportive environment. Please see below for more information and contact us with any informal enquiries.

At the moment we are looking for the Treasurer and Board Secretary. In order to obtain more information about the role and to apply, please see:

Volunteer with us!

Feniks for many years functioned only thanks to the dedication of its volunteers. These days it also relies on their work and faith in Feniks’s mission. As a charitable organisation, we are run by the Board of Directors, who volunteer their time and expertise to serve the community. All our projects and services are run by volunteers, this includes counselling, group work, Conversation Cafés, Active 50+ and administration. Please call or email us if you would like to join our diverse team!

We also welcome applications from international students interested in doing Erasmus internships with us.
